ZTEST EXPANDS SALES REACH BY RETAINING X TRONICS AS CANADIAN SALES REPRESENTATIVE

NORTH YORK, March 14, 2002 - ZTEST Electronics Inc. ("ZTEST" or the "Corporation") (CDNX - "YZT") wishes to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Permatech Electronics Corp. ("Permatech") of North York, Ontario, an ISO 9002 certified Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider, has retained X Tronics ("Xtronics") of Downsview, Ontario, as its sales representative in Canada. The agreement is effective immediately, for an indefinite term, subject to cancellation by either party on 60 days notice.

Permatech has recently expanded its production capacity and capability by acquiring pick-and-place equipment from Siemens. This equipment allows Permatech to service customers requiring placement of Ball Grid Array (BGA) and ultra fine pitch components in their products. The company is also planning to expand its sales outside of Ontario and Quebec, and to selected areas in the United States.
